3D scanning of a car we don't have (Finspång)

Protonord started the winter of 2023 with this at the request of car owners who wanted something other than universal covers with magnets that scratched the paint or froze when the weather changed. 

Therefore, we began 3D scanning and designing custom-fitted covers that fit specific car models exactly, rather than creating a universal solution.

This requires us to scan the charging port with a 3D scanner and model 3D model a cover that can be 3D printed locally here in Finspång, but also by our partners in Norway and the USA.

If we are missing a car type or model, you now have the opportunity to visit us with your car for 3D scanning and testing and receive a free cover for your car as a thank-you for your help.

We want to offer as many covers as possible for electric vehicle charging ports and therefore need to scan as many cars as possible. Our vision is local production as needed, instead of mass-produced goods abroad that need to be transported by ship, plane, and truck.
